If you were one of the thousand lucky ticket holders for BB1 Radio Hackney Weekend like us then …HOW CRAZY WAS IT, RIGHT?
Tim Westwood, Annie Mac, Skepta, DJ Fresh, Sean Paul, Flo Rida, Rita Ora, Delilah, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj… Just to name a few. And of course the headliner of which was Jay Z, but it didn’t stop there. Special guest Rihanna was first to accompany Jay Z with their opening song “Run this Town” which set the stage alight. MIA…. yes MIA, was the second special guest to Jay Z’s set. After Jay Z taking the stage solo, the American flag dropped and Jay-Z was no where to be seen. As the beat dropped and the music of “OTIS” ft Kanye started to drop in… of course it wasn’t the end of the set. Kanye West was the third Special guest…. yes THIRD! Once they dropped N****s in Paris that was it, they had hackney in the palms of their hands.
