Hello world, sorry for our long absence from the blog, the reason being our GCSEs and Ben’s beloved laptop dying.
However, we are now a few weeks into a long summer break and we will be sure to keep you updated on what we are doing and the usual list of things we are into!
Anyway to kick things off some cycling, of kinds. Tomorrow night Hackney City Farm will host a screening of the 2011 cult hit Troll Hunter, with a twist. It will be a cycle in cinema with a suggested donation of £5, which is a great price for a film which we can thoroughly recommend. So sharpen up your Norwegian and join us tomorrow night at 8. Details here.
We also feel it would be unfair to finish this post without alerting you of some things you might’ve missed. So here it goes:
My Bloody Valentine re-mastered their debut album ‘Isn’t Anything’ along with their acclaimed 1992 record ’Loveless’. Also re-mastered were EP’s spanning 4 years of the bands career.
Diiv released their debut album ‘Oshin’ and it seems to have gone down very well.
In our time of absence from the blog we went to some amazing gigs including Beach Fossils, where we managed to blag guest list spots and got ourselves backstage and Real Estate, who had support from Gross Magic and Proper Ornaments, who include a member of Veronica Falls in their line up.
We have also begun making our own music, some of which we will post in the coming weeks. We were called Puke Skywalker but unfortunately it has already been claimed so we are still nameless, so if you have any good ideas for a name comment below!
That’s pretty much all we can think of for now! If anything amazing happens you know where to find out about it!
